When a friend of photographer Irena Werning asked her to look after their dogs for 3 months (one of whom was little Chini) it kick-started a year long project. "I photographed her inside the little sets I would build for her where she was free to act our little human ways", says Irina. "Her photographic journey takes us into the very heart of the human comedy". My top pick is posh Chini - she actually looks like shes focusing on driving her mini car, whilst simultaneously trying to keep her hat straight and not knock her Harrods goodies off the bumper. Genius!
